<p><strong>TALLAHASSEE, FL (April 11, 2012)</strong> &#8211; One of the most anticipated seasons of ABC’s hit series, The Bachelorette, begins airing Monday, May 14. For the first time, the series was filmed outside the Los Angeles market. This season was filmed on the east coast near Bachelorette Emily Maynard’s home in Charlotte, NC. The show selected a luxury home in the area that contains all the touches and amenities associated with luxury living.</p>
<p>Viewers can now get a sneak peek both inside and outside the home from Homes &amp; Land. While the home will be featured in the April <em>Homes &amp; Land of Union and Anson Counties Magazine,</em> more extensive views are available online at <a href="http://www.FaceBook.com/HomesAndLand" target="blank">www.FaceBook.com/HomesAndLand.</a></p>
<p>The 12,000 sq.ft. home is listed for sale by Mirium Peters of the real estate company of Peters and Associates. This downright dreamy estate is located in the Evermay gated community and sits on over five acres. With 5 bedrooms, 7 full bathrooms and 3 half baths, the 25 bachelors have plenty of room. This home was built in 2006 and has a Mecklenburg County tax value of approximately $5 million.</p>
<p>The European style house has a stucco and stone exterior with a four car garage, elevator and ballroom. The outdoor kitchen, pool and estate grounds provide plenty of room for the guys to relax between dates with Ms. Maynard.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><em><strong>Top Realtors® address local market trends and attitudes </strong></em></p>
<p><strong>Tallahassee, FL (March 3, 2010)</strong> – If you want to know something about local real estate, ask a Realtor®. Homes &amp; Land, a provider of real estate media and marketing for over 37 years, recently launched <a href="http://www.homesandland.com/marketpulse" target="blank">Market Pulse.</a> In an effort to develop a clear view of each market, in February Homes &amp; Land asked over one hundred thousand real estate agents to report their opinions about their local real estate market. The national, state, and county results are published in the <a href="http://www.homesandland.com/marketpulse" target="blank">Market Pulse Survey Report.</a> Overall, optimism is improving with most agents reporting an increase in homebuyer interest. However, in states with the highest foreclosure rates, buying appears to be driven by distressed home sales.</p>
<p>When asked if President Obama’s Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP) “has reduced the rate of foreclosures in your market,” only 10 percent of respondents said ‘yes’. Initial details about HAMP became available on March 4, 2009 with the promise of easing at-risk homeowners. The plan makes available $75 billion in funding for up to four million homeowners, providing a modified interest rate and three months of a probationary period.</p>
<p>“Foreclosures and short sales still appear to be driving home sales in several states,” says Eric Adair, Business Development Analyst for Homes &amp; Land. “Unfortunately, the data on the program to date and the responses from our survey show that HAMP has done little to help. Clearly respondents to our survey don’t believe this program is helping to reduce foreclosures.”</p>
<p>When asked, “How would you describe consumer interest in purchasing a home in your area over the past three months,” 58 percent of agents in the U.S. said, “increasing.” Regional responses in states with the highest foreclosure rates showed interest even higher than the national average.</p>
<p>In the top three states with the highest foreclosure rates, real estate agents who responded are seeing increased homebuyer interest. Arizona (71%), California (64%) and Florida (67%) agents are seeing more interest, but the increase appears to be coming in the form of distressed home sales. Only 14% of agents reported that the majority (50% or more) of their sales over the last 12 months came from distressed properties. However, Arizona (38%), California (35%) and Florida (26%) agents each reported sales of distressed homes much higher than the national average.</p>
<p>“Almost 5800 Realtors® and agents across the U.S. participated in the Market Pulse survey,” says Adair. “We will continue ‘taking the pulse’ of as many local markets as we can throughout 2010 to better identify trends and regional market conditions.”</p>

<p>TALLAHASSEE, Fla.&#8211;Homes &amp; Land, a leading real estate publisher, has rolled out a new application that enables consumers to receive property information on their mobile phones through Twitter. Home shoppers driving by a property for sale can text a listing’s property address or MLS # to Twitter and access price, bedrooms and baths. Consumers with smart phones can also access multiple property photos. The application returns data from listings found on HomesAndLand.com and Google Base. Homes &amp; Land will also promote the Twitter application though its network of magazines, enabling readers to identify properties of interest in a magazine and text Twitter for more details.</p>

<p>	<strong>Tallahassee, FL (February 27, 2009)</strong> – Homes &amp; Land Affiliates, LLC successfully enforced its trademark rights to “Homes &amp; Land” in a recent infringement case against “Homes &amp; Loans Magazine.”  Homes &amp; Land asserted the use of the name “Homes &amp; Loans” was confusingly similar to its registered trademarks.  Over the last 36 years, Homes &amp; Land has perfected real estate marketing through its high quality magazines and its website, HomesAndLand.com , offering “a total marketing solution” to real estate professionals throughout North America and Canada. Homes &amp; Loans also published a magazine featuring home listings and mortgage lender advertisements throughout the United States. </p>
<p>United States District Court Judge John Antoon, II, Middle District of Florida, Orlando Division, ruled that the defendants William Keeler, Robert Klezmer and Homes &amp; Loans Magazine, LLC infringed upon the rights of Homes &amp; Land, placing great weight upon Homes &amp; Land’s longstanding use of its trademark name.  Homes &amp; Land, with its corporate offices in Tallahassee, FL, has been using the trademark for over thirty-six (36) years.  The Court entered an injunction against the Defendants prohibiting use of the name Homes &amp; Loans.  </p>
<p>“We are extremely happy with the outcome and Judge Antoon’s thoughtful and thorough opinion,” said Terry Smith, Legal Services Manager for Homes &amp; Land.  Adding, ”This was an important issue for us. Homes &amp; Land Affiliates, LLC is committed to protecting our intellectual property rights.  Our legal team did a great job of presenting our case and we couldn’t be happier with the result.”  </p>

<p>	<strong>Tallahassee, FL (April 10, 2008)</strong> – Homes &amp; Land, LLC has spent the past 35 years scripting the Great American Love Story – Homeownership.   </p>
<p>	“Our Realtor® clients witness first-hand the empowerment that comes with homeownership,” says Homes &amp; Land CEO Patrick Nadler.  “In 1973 when Homes &amp; Land launched, there were 44 million owner occupied homes in the US.  At the end of 2007, there were 75 million owner occupied homes.”</p>
<p>	“Although we can’t take credit for nearly doubling the number of homes owned, we like to believe that over the last 35 years we have played our part,” said Nadler with a smile. What began as a local venture in Tallahassee, Florida expanded throughout the Southeast and eventually throughout North America. <p>	People are using the Internet to conduct their search for a home. The real estate Internet audience is 18 percent of the total Internet audience, according to ComScore Media Metrix. That represents 32,747 million unique visitors per month visiting real estate portals, and the online audience continues to grow.  In 1995, a National Association of Realtors®  (NAR) survey found that only 2 percent of buyers used the Internet to search for a home.  A decade later that number had skyrocketed to 77 percent.  While the Internet is a top resource, only 24 percent of buyers in 2005 found their home through the Internet; 36 percent first learned about the home they purchased from a real estate agent &#8212; human interaction still reigns supreme.</p>
<p>	Interested in selling your home?  Include photos and lots of them.  According to researchers at the NAR, six or more photos linked to a listing online got 300 percent more views than properties with just one photo.  In addition to engaging an agent, and posting lots of photos, home sellers and their agents need to market properties both in print and online. This ensures that a property is seen multiple times by potential homebuyers.</p>

<p>	<strong>Tallahassee, FL (March 18, 2008)</strong> – Homes &amp; Land, the affluent home buyer’s marketplace, announced today it has signed a listing feed partnership with Zillow.com.  The agreement provides that all real estate listings on HomesAndLand.com will automatically be uploaded to Zillow.com.  Zillow is ranked among the most visited real estate sites by comScore Media Matrix.  </p>
<p>	“Our partnership with Zillow expands our listing reach and provides even greater exposure for our Realtors and Real Estate Agents,” says Robert Wicker, Chief Marketing Officer.  “Our mission continues to be building exceptional marketing programs for our advertisers. <p>	The Homes &amp; Land brand is visible in more than 30,000 communities across North America.
